FAQ 60
What spiritual support is available?

The Chaplaincies (Community, Spirituality and Faith centres) offer a relaxing environment with tea, coffee, often food and a place to chill out and meet your friends. They keep up-to-date local information for those looking for a church, mosque, synagogue, temple or other place of worship. Please look on our web pages at www.beds.ac.uk/faiths/celebrate. If you cannot find what you are looking for, members of the chaplaincy teams will be able to advise you.

The multifaith Chaplaincies:

  • can provide you with information on faith communities, religious and spiritual organisations and places of worship.
  • can put you in touch with others from your faith community and those who can help you explore alternative forms of spirituality.
  • can give you information about student religious and cultural societies on campus.

We can pray with you and for you, if you would like us to.
The multifaith Chaplaincies work with student societies and others in the university to celebrate major world faith festivals.
Multifaith prayer and quiet room facilities are located on the Luton, Bedford and Putteridge Bury campuses.
