Candidates must bring all the necessary writing equipment, rulers and where permitted, a calculator to all examinations. Details about permitted materials for each examination will have been previously provided by your lecturer. Please note that all materials will be checked by the invigilator. If you are in doubt, check with your unit coordinator.

• Under no circumstances is your mobile phone to be used as a calculator.
• Dictionaries are not permitted in examinations. You must not have on your person or within your permitted materials any notes or information that could give you an unfair advantage.
• Failure to abide by the above may result in an accusation of cheating.
• No food or drink may be taken into the examinations room with exception of sweets and water. During hot weather students are especially advised to bring water as it may not be available at the examination site.
