Can my lecturer grant me an extension to the published deadline for submission of assignments/coursework?
No, lecturers cannot approve extensions to assignments/coursework. You must apply for Mitigating Circumstances, and you can submit your claim via SiD Online, in person at the SiD Desk, or by email to mitigation@beds.ac.uk or sid@beds.ac.uk.
If you submit a piece of work late without applying for Mitigating Circumstances, the work will count as a non-submission.
