FAQ 534
How can I apply for a railcard?

You can collect a railcard application from any railway station. If you are under 26 years of age, you complete and hand in the form together with a passport sized photograph at the railway station.

If you are aged 26 and over, the form, together with the passport sized photograph, has to be verified by the University. Bring in the form and photograph to the Student Information Desk in the Campus Centre and the form can be completed in order for you to apply for a railcard at the rail station.

If you are applying online please complete the form and bring it to SiD and we will be able to sign and stamp it for you.

As the Student Information Desk is closed on campus due to Covid-19 - mature students can apply online for their railcard
