Does the University run events for students such as recruitment fairs and employer presentations?

The Careers and Employability Service run various events throughout the year to provide students with an insight into different career sectors and information on graduate employers and what they look for in applications when recruiting. These events include our annual Teaching Fair, Part-time Jobs Fair and STEM Fair. Employer presentations are run throughout the year according to the availability of employers who work in partnership with the University.

Event notifications are sent out through the following communication channels:

Careers notice boards: by the Careers offices at Luton and Bedford campus.

Online careers portal: careersonline.beds.ac.uk (login with your usual student id - when you login for the first time, please edit your profile to indicate how you would like to use the portal (this allows you to specify if you would like to receive automatic email notifications about job opportunities and events).
