FAQ 1164
What are graduate schemes and how do I apply?

Graduate schemes are training programmes which usually last between one and two years. Many companies offer them in areas such as finance, HR, IT, management and marketing. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and an insight into your chosen profession. Some schemes lead to a permanent position in the company and membership of a professional body.

Applications are competitive and usually open in the autumn term so you need to start applying at the beginning of your second year. The application process is competitive and may include a written application, telephone and/or face-to-face interview and a selection day.

Further details can be found on the Graduate Prospects website.
