The Minister for Immigration and Security made a statement in Parliament recently, regarding investigations into English language testing at a private firm.
We are assisting UK Visas and Immigration on this issue as we take our immigration compliance responsibilities extremely seriously.
The University’s licence to recruit has not been suspended. Our issuing of ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’ (CAS) letters is currently paused. We are confident that we will demonstrate the robustness of our procedures to the UKVI when they visit next week. We expect the situation regarding CAS letters to be resolved soon.
Students holding a current visa are not affected and should carry on with their studies.
Applicants holding an offer will be contacted by International Admissions to offer support and guidance.
