FAQ 824
I interrupted my studies and informed the University. What do I do when I return?

You re-register as you would do ordinarily. There is no strict need to inform the University of your return. Please bring the documents to registration as in previous years. Please note, however, that if you did not complete the Interruption of Studies form when you left, you may not be regarded as having interrupted your studies.

International students must ensure they have a valid student visa and should have their visa and passport checked prior to registration. This can be done on the same day.

It may be a good idea to get contact details for your course administrator, so that you can make sure the University is expecting you to re-register. Please contact the Student Information Desk on 0300 300 0042, log an enquiry or email sid@beds.ac.uk. We can also advise you of the dates of registration.
