Yes. The advice the team provides is completely confidential and it is also impartial. Advisors do not discuss students’ problems with academic departments or any other individuals outside of Student Support. Occasionally advisors might feel that it would be useful to discuss a student’s needs with other colleagues but consent is always sought from the student first before sharing any details or information outside of Student Support.
