FAQ 705
I am unable to submit my assignment through the normal channels. I have to post it to the University. What should I do?

You should attempt to submit your assignment through the normal channels in order to obtain a receipt as proof of submission. If you have to post your work please send via Recorded Delivery or with proof of postage to indicate the date. However, please note that this will not guarantee that the University will receive your assignment.

In general, it is acceptable to submit by post on the due date, but you must post the assignment at the Post Office so that it is stamped with the postage date. It is highly recommended in any case to submit via Recorded Delivery and keep the postage receipt. The onus is on the student to prove that he/she submitted the work in time.
