FAQ 233
What is an Academic Appeal?

It is a way of challenging the decision of the Board of Examiners where their decision was made in absence of essential information regarding your performance in a particular unit/assignment or overall academic performance. Further information can be found via the following link: https://www.beds.ac.uk/student-experience/academic-information/academic-appeals-policy

One of the caseworkers at Beds SU will be able to help you with advice on appeals. Come and find us on the mezzanine floor in Luton or the Hub in Bedford or visit www.bedssu.co.uk/advice for information and contact details.

You can also put your details directly into Beds SU ticketing system from their webpage www.bedssu.co.uk, using the ‘Get Help’ button on the bottom right (select “contact us”). You will get a ticket reference to your emails so you know that you are in the system, and someone will get back to you within 2 working days.
