FAQ 1074
I have been invited to an assessment day / to sit a selection test. How can I prepare?

Preparation is an important factor when attending assessment centres and taking selection tests. Taking some practice tests in advance will allow you to have a go at answering questions in a specified time frame and improve your ability to respond to them quickly. It also gives you an idea of what to expect on the day.

The Careers & Employability Service website includes a section on Assessment Centres & Selection Tests. From here you can access various practice tests and tips.

Prospects and TARGETjobs both have extensive resources on Assessment Centres.

Once you have looked at these options you can request a meeting with one of our advisers to discuss this further or arrange a mock interview - please email us via careers@beds.ac.uk
